Asset Management Solutions by WinJi
WinJi is our SET 2021 finalist from Switzerland that aims for scaling and impact when it comes to reaching carbon neutrality. The company’s own software, called the True Power Platform, improves the efficiency of energy production assets by 2-5% per year. These kinds of changes result in incremental accumulations over time in the areas that mean the most. WinJi works with solar and wind suppliers to analyze their portfolio, develop performance benchmarks and troubleshoot where systems are falling short. This results in increased energy production without additional infrastructure investment, and puts money in the pockets of asset owners.
Founded in Zurich in 2016, WinJi currently provides asset management solutions to over 50 companies. Asset management is largely beneficial to energy systems because it heads off system disturbances before they occur to prevent system downtime and reduce maintenance demands.Proactive asset management can reduce wear on systems, increasing their longevity and generating more energy over the lifetime of the system.
