Ecosummit Amsterdam (Amsterdam, Netherlands): July 4th, 2017

Ecosummit defines it as their goal to accelerate smart and green startups, investors and corporates. This year Ecosummit Amsterdam will present the best smart green startups from the Netherlands to the European community for the second time. The agenda features 62 speakers including 53 startups.

Deadline! EnergyLab Accelerator (Australia): July 9th/ July 30th, 2017

The EnergyLab Accelerator is a 6-12 month program to supercharge clean energy startups. If accepted, entrepreneurs receive training, connections to our network of investors, mentors and partners, and assistance in raising capital. Applications will close at 11:59pm AEST Sunday 9 July for Sydney and Sunday 30 July for Canberra. Participants of the program will need to relocate their startup to EnergyLab’s coworking space for the duration of the program.

Deadline! Weconomy – Die Gründerinitiative (Germany): July 12th, 2017

WECONOMY is a platform for interaction between start-ups and companies and aims to promote mutual understanding. They run their startup competition every year, looking for innovative, and technology-oriented ideas and convincing founders in Germany. Applications for the current edition are possible until 12th of July.

Deadline! Energy Efficiency Award (Germany): July 15th, 2017

The German Energy Efficiency Agency (dena) awards the Energy Efficiency Award since 2007 within the framework of the Initiative for more Energy Efficiency. This year’s categories for which private as well as public companies can apply are: “Energy Transition 2.0”, “Energy Efficiency 4.0” and “Energy Management and Services”. User-driven energy efficiency stands at the center of the competition. In this way businesses can show, how technological know-how and strategical decision making contribute to an integrated, future-compliant energy system. The nominees will be announced on the 30th of September 2017. The Award ceremony will take place as a part of the dena-congress on the 20th of November 2017 in Berlin.

Applications open! Start-up Chile Seed program (Santiago de Chile, Chile/South America): July 18th, 2017

Start-up Chile opens a new round of their seed program, addressing companies with a functional product and early validation. Participating startups will receive funding towards 90% of total program costs and through either reimbursement, or an advance payment plan. During a 6 month experience in Chile, Start-Up Chile will accelerate and support the participants business. Foreign teams will be provided with a one year working visa.
