It’s that time of year again! April 16th is only 10 days away and that means that the 2018 Start Up Energy Transition Tech Festival (SET) is almost upon us!
We are finishing up some last minute touches to make this experience as great as possible for everyone, especially our featured guests: the Top 18 finalists of the 2018 SET Award! These incredible start-ups are gathering here in Berlin from all over the world (13 countries to be exact), to show off exactly why they were chosen as the top energy-related start-ups of 2018. We are going to make sure they take full advantage of the Berlin Energy Week and have prepared a very exciting programme for them.
We will kick off their SET experience with pitch coaching hosted by two fantastic experts: Felix Krause and Mischa Wetzel from innogy ventures at the Soho House on Sunday April 15th, who will share all their wisdom and experience with our finalists.
On April 16th, the finalists will be the features of the SET Tech Festival and they will pitch their services and products to the top investors, corporates, researchers, other start-ups and experts in the energy field who form our incredible Tech Festival attendees.
You can catch the first batch of pitches in the Kinosaal area of Kulturbrauerei from 11:00 to 12:15 and the second batch of pitches at the same place from 16:15 to 17:30! You don’t want to miss this.
The next day, the finalists will have the incredible opportunity to join other participants of the SET Tech Festival, EventHorizon 2018 and the Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue (BETD) for the BETD evening reception and SET Award Ceremony at the incredible Kraftwerk location on April 17th. Here, the winners will be announced by some very special and influential guests. Stay tuned!
To cap it off, the six winners will have their very own SET Winners Panel at the BETD the following day on April 18th.
