An international jury of renowned experts has selected the 15 finalists for the prestigious Start Up Energy Transition (SET) Award 2025. Chosen from over 350 applications across 68 countries, these groundbreaking startups are at the forefront of the global energy transition. The competition takes place in five categories.
The finalists will showcase their innovations at SET Tech Festival, where they will pitch to investors, industry leaders, and policymakers. The winners will be announced during the Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue evening ceremony, celebrating the most impactful solutions driving a sustainable future. Get to know the 2025 finalist:
Since its inception in 2015, the Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue (BETD) has grown into one of the most influential global forums on the energy transition. Hosted over two days at the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin, the BETD provides a unique platform for high-ranking government officials, industry leaders, scientists, international organisations, and NGOs to exchange ideas, discuss pressing challenges, and foster strategic energy partnerships. The SET Award Ceremony forms the BETD Evening Reception.
