In an era characterised by environmental degradation, resource depletion, and geopolitical tensions, the energy system is seriously unsustainable. But it doesn’t have to be. The transition to a battery-powered renewable energy system and electric mobility provides a historic opportunity to both ensure clean energy and establish a circular economy; as batteries are not combusted, the opportunities to reuse, remanufacture, repurpose, and recycle batteries are endless. Cling is establishing the digital infrastructure and global service network to dramatically accelerate circularity. Our solutions are built around three business areas: Trade, Trace and Transport, all incorporated in our digital platform that we call the Circular Asset Management System (CAM system). The CAM system is a modular system with solutions to players across the value chain; e.g., battery producers, car manufacturers, electric fleet operators, 3PLs, repurposers, recyclers.
