"Revolutionizing Industry Energy Management with AI"
Industry consumes the largest share of energy in Germany and worldwide. Encentive’s vision is to decarbonize industry with the help of renewable energy. By revolutionizing the way industry consumes energy, encentive is saving megatons of CO2 – and millions of euros in energy costs. Encentive is pursuing this mission by enabling industrial companies to manage energy with AI. The business idea was born in 2019 from the observation that renewable energies are not being used effectively enough and a lot of potential remains untapped. Therefore Daniel Ehnes, Torge Lahrsen and Sascha Greve founded encentive in 2020. In 2022 the first version of their energy management platform for industry was released and the first employee was hired. Since then, the team has grown into 22 experts in mathematics, engineering, software development, sales and marketing who are constantly developing encentive’s business idea and product.
