Energy24by7 have developed a product named iCON which can convert ANY existing battery-based power systems like Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS) and Inverters to solar power at the lowest CAPEX cost to the Customer. This makes energy affordable and clean as the existing batteries and inverters are utilized. iCON optimizes solar utilization and backup availability using predictive techniques embedded in our firmware. iCON estimates the load of the customer beforehand and decides when to power the loads from solar power + batteries, when to store energy from solar modules in the battery and when should the loads be powered from the utility grid. The batteries are left fully charged by sunset so that the user has a full backup for any potential blackouts during non-solar hours.
