In 2015, Andreas Eberhardt invented this solution as part of his bachelor’s thesis and applied for a patent.
After four years of research and development, he co-founded PIONIERKRAFT in 2019 and launched the second product generation (first mass-produced generation) on the German market in 2022.
PIONIERKRAFT is currently selling the second generation of its product. Over 1000 of our solutions have already been sold, enabling 200 solar projects that would not have been profitable without this solution. PIONIERKRAFT is currently developing the third generation, which will halve the costs on both sides: production and the customer. PIONIERKRAFT addresses the market of small and medium-sized apartment buildings with 3-12 residential units. This building segment comprises 40% of the total housing stock in Germany and benefits from very short and effective sales cycles via our B2B partners. Our Go-To Market-strategy is a b2b-sales-approach through solar installers and the housing industry.
