We install and microfinance decentralized renewable energy systems in remote and hard-to-reach rural areas. Our model includes several key components:
Guardians of Light.
These are community members responsible for the sale, distribution, installation and maintenance of Casa Grata’s energy systems. They ensure the long-term operation of the solutions while generating revenue and encouraging technology adoption through a gamification process.
PayGO The system allows consumers to access solar energy through small monthly payments, rather than paying the full cost upfront. Each time a payment is made, a period of access to solar energy is unlocked. Once the full cost of the system is paid, users gain permanent access to solar power without additional payments.
Remote assistance
Software is incorporated that allows remote monitoring of the system operation from your cell phones and our office team can also monitor, activate and deactivate the systems as needed.
